Job Duties and Responsibilities:
·       The Crestron Programmer interprets AV signal drawings and scopes of work to reasonably assume function and user experience of an AV system.
·       The Crestron Programmer writes source code for simple-complex Commercial Audio/Video systems.
·       Travel to client sites to provide programming services and deployment on system installations including video, audio, video conferencing, boardroom, access control and video surveillance.
·       The Crestron Programmer creates a GUI and develops a user experience in line with standards and project SOW (scope of work) for each project.
·       The Crestron Programmer works with field engineers and superintendents, offering remote support for uploading and testing code and AV systems control of components.
·       The Crestron Programmer provides feedback to AV engineers and project management on experiences with products, schedules, programming, estimation and overall quality control for the AV systems we integrate.
·       The Crestron Programmer collaborates with, contributes to and embraces a fast-paced team environment.
·       The Crestron Programmer will complete other responsibilities as assigned.
·       The Crestron Programmer must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
·       The Crestron Programmer must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop job processes and best practices.
·       The Crestron Programmer must have high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
·       The Crestron Programmer must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
·       The Crestron Programmer is PC & Networking proficient (must already know your way around a computer)
·       Must have HS Diploma or GED, prefer Bachelor’s degree – formal education in electronics or related field a plus.
·       Prefer a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in audio visual or other electro-mechanical installation techniques, or field servicing.
·       Crestron programming experience and Crestron Advanced Programming certification is required.
·       Must be able to read schematic diagrams and drawings
